This site located at north end of diving area in Padang Bai. Pura Jepun can be reached by boat from Padang Bai harbor, turn left at Tanjung Sari and passing the Blue Lagoon; or can by car, drive from Padang Bai to Candi Dasa, and turn right to the small village before Pertamina till you reach the beach.
Name of Pura Jepun come from small temple at the cliff, even no frangipani trees there. In Balinese word, Pura is mean temple and Jepun is mean frangipani. The cliff itself around a hundred meters high and just around two till five meter below the water
Pura Jepun itself is shallow water coral reefs with all the coral fish babies are easily to be seen at 5 meters depth. Blue spotted stingray and crocodile fish are often seen at the twin rock. Start the dive from sandy beach or if you dive from boat, jump to water close to aqua's bottle mooring buoy. This shallow enough, around four meters. And continued your dive to cover the shallow reef or you can go to the sandy slope where you can find scattered coral reefs with small fish. Visibility of Pura Jepun is good enough, 10-20 meters, but sometime drop to 5 meter. Some time we have current here; bring you to the Blue Lagoon.
